About Dan

My name is Dan, the owner of Castaway Vintage. I’ve had a lifelong interest in antique and vintage items. After a long and varied career in the emergency services spanning 24 years, in Summer 2021 I decided to make my interest my job, and I took the plunge and opened castaway Vintage in Port Erin.

I try to have a variety of items from different periods and I follow a simple rule when buying: if I like  the look of it chances are others will too! 

I believe quality antique and vintage items needn’t cost the earth, and I work hard to keep prices fair and accessible for all customers.
